Weekend Events

Welcome to the 32nd North Carolina Holiday Flotilla at Wrightsville Beach

The 32nd Flotilla weekend will be held on Friday and Saturday, November 27th and 28th. From our humble beginnings over thirty years ago, the Flotilla has grown to become one of the top 20 events in the Southeast and a must see family weekend, attracting an estimated 50,000 people to Wrightsville Beach annually.

Our weekend kicks off with the fabulous Launch Party held at the Blockade Runner on Friday November 27th, followed by the family friendly Festival in the Park on Saturday November 28th and of course, the spectacular lighted boat parade and increasingly impressive fireworks will be that evening.

Wondering where to watch the boat parade?  Click here for an interactive map of the parade route.

Also, don’t miss Santa and the Christmas Tree lighting at 5:45 on Friday November 27th at Wrightsville Beach Town Hall.  Come enjoy Christmas music and hot chocolate with Santa, Mrs. Claus, and Santa’s Elves.  This year Santa has asked for help collecting gifts for Port Human Services, a non-profit organization that provides shelter, clothing, and other necessities in addition to counseling and employment assistance for men and women participating in their substance abuse recovery program.

We are currently accepting sponsorships and finalizing our prizes for the 2015 Flotilla. If you are interested in becoming a sponsor, please click here.

Thank you to everyone who has helped make the Flotilla possible, especially our host sponsors The Blockade Runner Resort and the Town of Wrightsville Beach and all of the volunteers who help make each Flotilla weekend one of the best ever!

Thank you for your support of the 32nd North Carolina Holiday Flotilla! We look forward to seeing you at all of our events.
